Our Local Treat package is the ideal opportunity to treat yourself and your loved one to a mid-week escape, prospering the perks of the Hunter Valley region. You might have a celebration in mind or just need some quality time with that special someone, either way we invite you to share this occasion at Kirkton Park. Escapade through the valley, appreciating the natural splendour of the surrounds and tantalize your tastebuds with local produce – truly discovering all that the vineyard district has to offer!

Experience Locavore

A favourite amongst visitors and locals, Locavore Dining is renowned for its delectable menu, which features ingredients from our own Kirkton Park grounds and local Hunter Valley producers. The culinary team, led by Executive Chef Trent Webber are here to craft the freshest ingredients and multi-award winning Winemaker Liz Silkman will pair the perfect wine to accompany your meal.

After your day exploring the Hunter Valley, grab a window seat overlooking the stunning grounds of our property. Settle in for a fine dining experience, catching a glimpse of the mellow sunset between the sweeping hills.

For starters, you opt for the Angel Hair Pasta, a light entrée with king prawns and blue swimmer crab. Moving onto mains, it’s a tough call between the Potato Gnocchi with Basil Pesto or the Duck Breast with Parsnip Puree. After selecting and devouring the delicious Potato Gnocchi, you wish to indulge once more with the Deconstructed Violet Crumble for dessert. Then, wash everything down with a local red wine to make the most of this romantic evening.
